IT'S A GIRL!!!

It is official. We went to the doctor yesterday and found out that we are having a little girl. We are very excited about it too! I have been saying that I want to have a child that will cuddle with me, since Asa hates to sit still for more than a mila-second. Jess and I both think that Asa will be a great big brother to her as well. The due date is set for February 10th. Thanks for all of your prayers for us and please continue to pray for Jess and the development of our baby girl. (sorry the pictures are so grainy, I had to scan them in and they didn't come out so clear)

Borderline obsession

"Tractor, tractor, tractor." That is the consuming thought on Asa's mind all the time now. He is constantly on the lookout for tractors while we are driving in the car. When he spots one he'll say, "Tractor, up, down, up, down."

Some friends gave us this tractor about six months ago and Asa was terrified of it, but now he loves it. He gets on it and and raises and lowers the bucket, then he'll go get something to put in the bucket. We are really enjoying this stage b/c he is putting several words together and communicating a lot with us. He can get his point across now through words instead of temper tantrums. And that's good news for mommy and daddy.

We are also excited about next Wednesday. We will find out whether #2 is a boy or a girl. We will let you know once we find out.
