IT'S OFFICIAL!!!

We wanted to share with y'all the great news! We are expecting baby #3 coming in late August. Jess went to the doctor last Friday and everything checked out well. We are excited about adding to the family. God didn't quite check with us about his timing, but thank goodness we can trust that his timing is perfect even when it differs from ours. To God be the glory for another blessing of life from him. Please pray with us that Jess and the baby will remain healthy throughout the pregnancy and that Jess will carry this child full-term. We will keep you updated as we learn more details about #3.

Disney World Fun!

We were so privileged to get to go to Disney World today. We were given FREE tickets to enjoy a day at Disney and we did just that. Unfortunately, Ellie didn't make the trip b/c it would have been a very long day for an eleven month old.

Asa had a blast the whole day. He told me that his favorite things in the park were the Dumbo ride and the Jungle Cruise where he saw crocodiles, elephants, snakes, and lions. He did not whine or complain the entire day! Well, actually he did whine once b/c he enjoyed the Dumbo ride so much that he wanted to ride it again. We topped the day off by watching the parade come through with all of the fun Disney characters.

We finally found the one thing that will actually wear Asa out. He fell asleep in the car no more than 5-7 minutes after we pulled out of the parking lot. It was a really fun day and we are so glad that we were able to get to go to Disney before we left Orlando.

I'm 3 years old!

Asa had a great birthday despite having a fever all day long. He seemed to perk up after the dinosaur cake...interesting how that happens :). He didn't want to take his rescue uniform off or get out of his fire truck. Another great birthday!
